Meet Marie

Marie grew up in CT, and graduated from UC Santa Barbara.  Before training dogs, Marie trained ranch horses in Colorado, where she worked on cattle ranches and played in the Rocky Mountains.  As she got more into bird hunting, her love for sporting dogs grew, eventually leading to a career in training high-caliber hunting dogs.

Marie is also a Certified Veterinary technician with a special interest in canine nutrition, physiology, and sports health & conditioning.  She believes our sporting dogs are athletes and require special attention to keep them healthy, strong, and capable in order to hunt in the woods or duck blind beside us.

Marie has had the privilege of working alongside a variety of top-tiered retriever and bird dog trainers, learning various methods and tactics for building great competition & family-hunting dogs.  Through her experiences, she has developed a unique passion for proper puppy/young dog development and building the ideal hunting companion.
