This is not your typical guided hunt.  

This program focuses on you and your bird dog learning the grouse woods together.

When I began hunting grouse, I had to learn every step of the way.  It was a 3-4 year learning curve in which the dogs and I spent miles in the woods with a lot of zero flush days and lessons learned.  While the journey made us better every hunt, I often thought, "if only I knew this when Colt was young".

My goal for you and your bird dog is to help take years off that learning curve so you can get the most out of your limited hunting days with the canine compadre.  We will touch upon how to hunt with your young dog, expectations for you as a hunter & handler, cover recognition, safety, navigation, basic first aid (human & canine) and any other questions you may have.
